nepal map Education Programme at Karuna Girls School

November 9, 2016- Animal Nepal got an opportunity to spend an afternoon with 150 lovely students from Karuna Girls School during our CNVR Camp at Lumbini. We were amazed to see the interest and excitement in the students when Animal Nepal President Pramada Shah called the students to be the "animal protector" of their community.

Established in 2013, The Karuna Girls School provides free education to more then 200 girls of Lumbini area who would otherwise be married as young as 10 years of age and face a life of no education, poverty and labour.

At Karuna, every single girl child is raised up to be independent and self-employed so she can decide about her life and her body herself and take equal part in the development and growth of our society.
